How credits work
1 credit = ₹1. Talk time and phone numbers both come from the same balance.

Credit basics
Credits are the single currency for everything on Sancharya. 1 credit = ₹1 INR. Your prepaid credit balance covers both talk time and phone number rentals.
Credits never expire. There's no monthly minimum and no subscription — top up when you need to, and your balance carries forward indefinitely.
Talk time billing
Calls are billed in 30-second blocks. If a call lasts 22 seconds, you're billed for 30 seconds. If it lasts 31 seconds, you're billed for 60 seconds.
The rate depends on which voice tier the employee uses:
- Value — ₹3/min (₹1.50 per 30s block)
- Standard — ₹5/min (₹2.50 per 30s block)
- Premium — ₹7/min (₹3.50 per 30s block)
Test calls to your own phone are always free and never deduct credits, regardless of voice tier.
Phone number billing
Each phone number costs ₹649/month, deducted from your credit balance on the same day each month. If your balance is insufficient, the number keeps working while we retry — but top up promptly to avoid losing the number.
Free credits on signup
Every new account receives 20 free credits (₹20) to test the platform. These credits work exactly like purchased credits — use them for test calls, or save them for when you go live.
